Premier League 2022/23 Season To Kick Off On Aug

The Premier League will return for the 2022/23 season. Nottingham Forest are the 20th and final team to join the top flight. The new season will be the first since the end of the 2010-11 season. The club were promoted to the Premier League for the first time in 23 years. Huddersfield Town, Forest, Sheffield United and Luton Town contested the playoffs for the second promotion spot.The Premier League season kicks off on Friday, Aug. 5. There will be three midweek matchdays, not counting Boxing Day and Jan. 2 matches. There are two weekends dedicated to the FA Cup in January. .
