Sydney Fc'S Rhyan Grant Named A

Rhyan Grant scored the equaliser for Sydney FC against Melbourne Victory. The 26-year-old scored six goals in the A-League last season. Grant hails from Canowindra, a historic New South Wales town known for their hot-air ballooning.

Sydney midfielder has had a topsy-turvy career so far. Was considered a prodigy at a young age before moving to Sydney. Made his A-League debut in 2013 before suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the Sydney Derby in 2013.

Grant has been ruled out for the rest of the A-League season. The fullback ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament again in July. The injury was so severe it required a full knee reconstruction. Goal's Top 20 A-League players will be named on Thursday.
