NJ/NY Gotham FC lost 3-1 to the Washington Spirit in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) Challenge Cup. Nahomi Kawasumi scored the first goal for the home side in the fourth minute. Trinity Rodman scored two goals in the second half.
